Commanding general of XVIII Airborne Corps, Lt. Gen. Gregory K. Anderson, observes the Drone Buster, counter unmanned aerial system, being held by Maj. Gen. David Gardner, commander of Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at an area along the southern border barrier near Nogales, Ariz., Feb. 17, 2025. Lt. Gen. Anderson visited JTF-SB to gain on-ground insight during the 101st Airborne Division’s (Air Assault) responsibility for the southern border mission. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
