Commanding general of XVIII Airborne Corps, Lt. Gen. Gregory K. Anderson, converses with Maj. Gen. David W. Gardner, commander of Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) and Border Patrol agents at an area along the southern border barrier near Nogales, Ariz., Feb. 17, 2025. Lt. Gen. Anderson visited JTF-SB to gain on-ground insight during the 101st Airborne Division’s (Air Assault) responsibility for the southern border mission. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
