A pulse oximeter reads the oxygen levels of U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jacob Parker, a combat graphics specialist with Communication Strategy and Operations, Marine Corps Base Quantico, during a demonstration using the LifePak 35 cardiac monitor/defibrillator at Quantico Fire and Emergency Services Station 31 on MCB Quantico, Feb. 11, 2026. The LifePak 35 is an advanced clinical decision support tool designed to promote confident cardiac care and deliver in demanding environments. Station 31 recently integrated these devices into their protocol over the LifePak 15 for their additional capabilities and features along with extensive training to provide maximum safety to service members and families aboard MCB Quantico.
