Kyle Amory, 374th Civil Engineer Squadron Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration supervisor, installs internal heating coils in a high-temperature hot water boiler during an emergency east side boiler system repair at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Feb. 6, 2026. The boiler uses steam internally to heat water, which is distributed to east side facilities and housing for comfort heating and hot water.
