Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers Vice President Cpl. Emilie Chapter, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Disciplinary Barracks Battalion (Corrections), ladles an alfredo sauce over dough while constructing a pizza during a BOSS-sponsored life-skills cooking class Feb. 10, 2026, at the Frontier Conference Center at Fprt Leavenworth, Kansas. BOSS members went skiing in January at Snow Creek in Weston, Missouri, and the club is planning excursions for indoor paintball at Jaegers Subsurface Paintball in Kansas City, Missouri, Feb. 28 and an immersive art experience Atlas 9 in Kansas City, Kansas, March 21. Other activities include bowling at 7 p.m. at Strike Zone Bowling Center the first Saturday of each month, a pickleball tournament the last Sunday of each month at Harney Sports Complex, and volunteering at free community movie nights the second Friday of each month at the Post Theater. The BOSS monthly meeting is at noon the third Wednesday of each month in the BOSS room at the Single Soldier Quarters.
