KILAUEA, Kauai, Hawaii (February 6, 2026) Funding provided by the REPI grant will support the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service team in their work to manage crucial bird habitat within the new predator exclusion fence and develop operational processes that will support conservation and reduce Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) into the future. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain range, capable of supporting surface and sub-surface, air and space operations simultaneously.
