Coast Guard members assigned to Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay (WTGB 102) manually hoist a buoy from Lake Erie onto shore in Erie, Pennsylvania, Jan. 24, 2026. Prior to bringing the buoy onto land, the crew removed it from Lake Erie due to it causing a navigational hazard for commercial vessels en route to deliver essential goods.
