Coast Guard members assigned to Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay (WTGB 102) prepare the deck as the cutter comes alongside a buoy on Lake Erie in Erie, Pennsylvania, Jan. 24, 2026. The crew's removal of the buoy from the water was in an effort to support the Great Lakes ice-breaking operations, which are designed to maintain the Maritime Transportation System during Winter months.
