Anthony Redondo, a native of Pennsylvania and a field artillery officer with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, instructs Marines on suicide awareness during back in the saddle training (BITS) at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 21, 2026. BITS is an annual event that refreshes Marines on essential topics such as Sexual Assault Prevention and Response, Suicide Prevention and Awareness, Operational Security, Substance Abuse, Crime Prevention, the Junior Enlisted Performance Evaluation System and the Exceptional Family Member Program.
