The U.S. Army marked a historic milestone in modernization as the Army Acquisition Executive, Honorable Brent G. Ingraham, presided over the casing of colors ceremony at the Lindner Conference Center, Picatinny Arsenal, officially activating the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Agile Sustainment and Ammunition (PAE AS&A).
Under the leadership of Maj. Gen. John T. Reim, we formally closed the book on the Joint Program Executive Office Armaments & Ammunition. The activation of PAE AS&A represents an enduring commitment to accelerating acquisition and rapidly delivering next-generation capabilities to the warfighter.
Maj. Gen. Sean Davis will serve as the new Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive adding the sustainment capabilities of the Army’s Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) to PAE AS&A.
The pivotal moment reflects the Army’s dedication to continuous transformation and modernization, ensuring our Soldiers are equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
