U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 18th Operations Support Squadron weather flight set up a weather sensor on a Whiskey-174, Japan, Jan. 15, 2026. The weather flight is responsible for issuing forecasts every eight hours, as well as providing pre-mission weather briefings to inform pilots and other airborne personnel of the expected weather conditions at the time they are flying.
