U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 18th Operations Support Squadron and 18th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal technicians, look at an HH-60W Jolly Green II assigned to the 33rd Rescue Squadron takeoff from Whiskey-174, Japan, Jan. 15, 2026. The 18th OSS weather flight set up a micro weather station on Whiskey-174, expanding the range of data used to provide quick and accurate weather forecasts, allowing pilots to safely get off the ground on short notice.
