Sailors assigned to USS JASON DUNHAM (DDG 109) had the privilege of sharing dinner with Corporal Jason L. Dunham’s parents, Deb and Dan Dunham. During the visit, Sailors heard personal stories from Corporal Dunham’s childhood directly from the people who raised him, gaining a deeper understanding of the values and character that defined his life and service. The namesake outreach honored Corporal Dunham’s legacy of selfless service and sacrifice while strengthening ties between the ship and the local community. The visit reinforced the ship’s heritage and the Navy’s enduring commitment to honoring our Nation’s heroes.
