Soldiers from 2-503rd (Airborne) Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Room train daily with advanced State of the Art MRAP Egress Trainer (MET) simulator at Training Support Center in Vicenza, Italy. The MET simulates a rolled-over MRAP, in which the trainer is capable of rotating and stopping in various positions allowing soldiers to practice a variety of egress techniques at different angles. By conducting this training under controlled conditions will allow soldiers in the vehicle to gain experience in the proper egress procedures and prevent injury during accident in the future.
