An A-10 Thunderbolt II assigned to the 355th Wing, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, performs a flight demonstration for 56th Fighter Wing honorary commanders during a simulated deployment, Jan. 22, 2026, at Barry M. Goldwater Range, Arizona. Directly observing the coordination between air assets and range personnel provided civic leaders with a practical understanding of the training environment required to maintain combat readiness. Integrating these partners into the mission environment built the mutual trust and community support necessary to sustain long-term flight operations.
