FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (January 27, 2026) -- A plaque dedicates Fleet Activities Yokosuka's central green space to Mr. Minakichi Kosano as seen January 27, 2026 in Kosano Park. Kosano was a resident in the City of Yokosuka and was instrumental building the friendship between the U.S. Navy and the City of Yokosuka. His legacy is memorialized with a park dedicated to his name and the Admiral Arleigh A. Burke Officers' Club main dining area being honored with the Kosano name. (U.S. Navy photo by James Kimber)
