A competitor maintains a positive attitude while navigating the wet course during the Iron Soldier Half Marathon at Fort Bliss, Texas, Jan. 24, 2026. Despite the cool and rainy conditions, morale remained high among the hundreds of Soldiers and civilians who turned out for the annual Fort Bliss Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation 13.1-mile run.
