An EOC is an interagency, command and control facility tasked to manage local emergency-response operations during large-scale emergencies. Typically the South Carolina National Guard provides a minimum of one Liaison officer, or LNO, to each local EOC to facilitate military, support operations, and to tailor the response to the needs of the requesting agency.
