NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Jan. 13, 2025) – Peter Cowper, water program manager for Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT), photographs a chlorine injection point during a Region Water Quality Board assessment at the Naval Radio Transmitter Facility Niscemi, Italy. The assessment was conducted to evaluate installation compliance with the Navy Overseas Drinking Water Program. NAVFAC EURAFCENT supports fleet commanders by providing engineering assessments and agile acquisition strategy, constructing and maintaining shore infrastructure, and maximizing force readiness to enhance warfighter capability.
