U.S. Army Paratrooper Sgt. Legwin McGrady III, assigned to Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, participates in the Combined Arms Training Center's (CATC) Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) Master Trainer Course at the Balli Airfield in Vilseck, Germany, Jan. 23, 2026. This intensive, multi-week course requires specific prerequisites, including being a current operator, meeting fitness/medical standards, and serving in a unit with authorized sUAS. As both a TRADOC and NATO Quality Assurance accredited institution, CATC offers almost 60 courses ranging from classroom instruction on transporting HAZMAT on European public roads to combat life-saving skills in a simulated combat environment.
