A Japan Self-Defense Force cadet provides combat casualty care, under the instruction of U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Lindsey Bowman, an instructor with Expeditionary Operations Training Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, during the culminating event of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care course at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 16, 2026. EOTG’s TCCC culminating event provided the JSDF cadets with trauma medicine scenarios, which will enable them to conduct combat casualty care while under intense physical and mental pressure.
