U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, conduct a convoy with Tucker Terra Model 1600 Sno-Cats assigned to Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center while establishing field lodging as part of Mountain Training Exercise 1-26 at MCMWTC in Bridgeport, California, Jan. 16, 2026. The field lodging will consist of a chapel, a forward battalion aid station, and a field Marine Corps Exchange to ensure the Marines and Sailors’ safety and quality of life throughout their time in the field. Exercises like MTX 1-26 prove Marines’ ability to provide flexible and responsive combat service support during high intensity combat operations in contested and mountainous terrain.
