U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Hunter Bobholz, a logistics specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, wraps up tent poles while establishing field lodging as part of Mountain Training Exercise 1-26 at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California, Jan. 16, 2026. The field lodging will consist of a chapel, a forward battalion aid station, and a field Marine Corps Exchange to ensure the Marines and Sailors’ safety and quality of life throughout their time in the field. Exercises like MTX 1-26 prove Marines’ ability to provide flexible and responsive combat service support during high intensity combat operations in contested and mountainous terrain.
