U.S. Air Force Capt. Jared Cannon, director of operations for the 125th Maintenance Squadron, holds the flag of his late grandfather right after receiving it off of an aircraft at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, Florida, Dec. 8, 2026. The flag was flown during a training mission to honor the 40-year service legacy of the late Lt. Col. Ronnie Hamilton, a former logistics group commander with the Florida Air National Guard. The tribute was arranged by his grandson, Capt.
