An American flag rests in the cockpit of a returning U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II, piloted by U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Joseph Pasko, commander of the Florida Air National Guard’s 159th Fighter Squadron, both assigned to the 125th Fighter Wing at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, Florida, Dec. 8, 2026. The flag was flown during a training mission to honor the 40-year service legacy of the late Lt. Col. Ronnie Hamilton, a former logistics group commander with the Florida Air National Guard. The tribute was arranged by his grandson, Capt.
