MONCURE, N.C. — Megan Garrett, dam safety program manager; Mitchell Hall, chief of the Geotechnical and Dam Safety Section; and Tamara Murphy, dam safety officer and chief of the Engineering Branch, walk through the outlet conduit at B. Everett Jordan Dam in January 2025. The inspection confirmed the structure remains within safe operating margins and supports continued protection of downstream communities.
