U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Kevin Collins, commanding general of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, congratulates Capt. Jillian Renly on assuming command of Alpha Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, after the change of command ceremony on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 9, 2026. The ceremony saw 1st Lt. Scott Laane relinquish command of Alpha Company to Renly. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
