Gardner, commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and the commander of Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), departs a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter in Yuma, Ariz., Dec. 31, 2025. Gardner visited Marine forces assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) to observe their operational integration with U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), and engage with Marines, Sailors and USBP personnel.
