U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Christian F. Wortman, the commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Force, prepares to don his Kevlar during a tour of the southern border in Engineer Springs, Calif., Dec. 30, 2025. Wortman visited the San Diego sector to engage with Marines and observed the systems and tools supporting Joint Task Force Southern Border (JTF-SB) operations.
