A Soldier assigned to XVIII Airborne Corps fires a pistol during the Excellence in Competition (EIC) Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Jan. 8, 2026. Competitors were required to transition between standing, kneeling, and prone firing positions to test accuracy and control.
