U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Task Force Nighthawk, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade and German Soldiers assigned to 22nd German Task Force CD/CBI (Counter-Daesh/Capacity Building Iraq) are transported to the Beneswala Range, Erbil, Iraq via Boeing CH-47 Chinook in preparation for a joint Schützenschnur on Oct. 31, 2025. The Schützenschnur allows U.S. Army participants to compete for the German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship badge while strengthening NATO partnership, interoperability and proficiency in foreign weapons handling.
