NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, ITALY (Nov. 18, 2025) – Utilitiesman 3rd Class Ethan Madden, from Melbourne, Fla., and assigned to Public Works Department Sigonella, excavates an 11-inch water line. The repair was conducted to fix a leak of approximately 50 gallons per hour near the Wastewater Treatment Plant Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT) supports fleet commanders by providing engineering assessments and agile acquisition strategy, constructing and maintaining shore infrastructure, and maximizing force readiness to enhance warfighter capability.
