NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, ITALY (Nov. 20, 2025) – Utilitiesman 2nd Class Terree Oyama, from Big Island, Hawaii, and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Timothy Wilson, from Atlanta, Ga., both assigned to Public Works Department Sigonella, are recognized for achieving their lab analyst certifications. Their new qualifications ensure all wastewater and drinking water analyses meet established standards, making NAS Sigonella the only installation with military lab-certified analysts for mission-critical responses. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT) supports fleet commanders by providing engineering assessments and agile acquisition strategy, constructing and maintaining shore infrastructure, and maximizing force readiness to enhance warfighter capability.
