U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine students Maj. Alexander Torres, Maj. Philip Kim and Maj. Eric Sifuna, wrap a manikin’s leg to practice managing and prioritizing care for many patients during the Aerospace Medicine Primary (AMP) 3 course at Calamityville in Fairborn, Ohio, on May 8, 2025. Part of a five-course series known as the Aerospace Medicine Primary Program, AMP 3 comprised one section of the initial qualification training for U.S. Air Force flight medicine providers. This course provided both classroom learning (lectures and discussions) and hands-on laboratory experience, which built competent occupational primary care providers for the Air Force. It focused on medical standards and offered students the knowledge and skills required to understand the special needs of Airmen. (U.S. Air Force Photo / Micah Hung)
