U.S. Navy Capt. Samuel White, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam commander welcomes U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Hollyhock to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii Dec. 11, 2025. The primary mission of the Hollyhock, a 225-foot Juniper-class seagoing buoy tender, is to maintain and deploy aids to navigation within the navigable waters of the main Hawaiian Islands, American Samoa, and Midway Atoll, servicing buoys that mark shipping channels, ports and hazardous areas.
