Cox, U.S. Navy rear admiral (retired), third from left. As an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer, Cao led counter improvised threat missions for Special Warfare and Special Forces around the world with multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia. The artifacts have been donated to help tell the story of explosive ordnance disposal handlers within the Navy, and are among the thousands of artifacts held in the archives of NHHC.
