U.S. Coast Guard Seaman Ryan DiLorenzo, a Coast Guard body bearer assigned to the Ceremonial Honor Guard, adjusts the national ensign during training at the Ceremonial Honor Guard in Alexandria, Virginia, on April 25, 2025. The unit is on call year round to perform funerals and ceremonies at both Arlington National Cemetery and abroad. Comprised of roughly 65 members, the Honor Guard performs an average of 20 ceremonies a week, ranging from Silent Drill Team performances, to Joint Service missions at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider, to funerals across the country.
