The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) transits Puget Sound as it passes two new portal cranes at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Bremerton, Wash., on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025. The Nimitz was returning to its homeport at Naval Base Kitsap following a nine-month deployment.
