Expended shell casings from a U.S. Marine Corps M2A1 .50-caliber machine gun fired by Marines of Combat Logistics Company Alpha, Task Force Ashland, I Marine Expeditionary Force, during live fire and maneuver training at Range 800, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 18, 2025. Range 800 allowed TF Ashland personnel to build proficiency in platoon-supported attacks between the ground combat element and the logistics combat element.
