    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Mason Turner, an expeditionary fuels technician assigned to Combat Logistics Company Alpha, Task Force Ashland, I Marine Expeditionary Force, fires an M2A1 .50-caliber machine gun during live fire and maneuver training at Range 800, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 18, 2025. Range 800 allowed TF Ashland personnel to build proficiency in platoon-supported attacks between the ground combat element and the logistics combat element. TF Ashland is a flexible crisis response force, purpose-built to integrate with allies and partners in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific. Turner is a native of Wisconsin.
