YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 19, 2025) – From left, Cmdr. Douglas Hagenbuch, commanding officer of Seawolf-class fast-attack submarine USS Seawolf (SSN 21), Rear Adm. Lincoln Reifsteck, commander, Submarine Group 7, Japan’s Minister of Defense Shinjiro Koizumi, and Chargé d’Affaires Aaron Snipe of the U.S. Embassy in Japan pose for a photo prior to a tour while the submarine is on a scheduled port visit at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Dec. 19, 2025. Seawolf, homeported in Silverdale, Washington, and assigned to Submarine Development Squadron 5, is conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
