BOSTON – Servicemembers from the Massachusetts National Guard participate in the 15th Annual Children's Hospital Toy Ruck, December 18, 2025. Hosted by the 226th Transportation Battalion, the annual toy ruck raises funds to be donated to Boston Children's Hospital to purchase gifts for patients, provide winter holiday activities, and create special moments throughout the season. In total, guardsmen raised more than ten thousand dollars for Boston Children's Hospital.
More than 50 Ruckers departed the Dorchester Armory to cover more than four and a half miles to Boston Children's Hospital. Servicemembers decorated their rucks with holiday decorations and toys as they marched through the streets of Boston. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Steven Eaton)
