U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Vincent Sedita, left, an air support control officer and Sgt. Alaxander Skelton, an air traffic control specialist both with 12th Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, offload equipment from a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle during a long-range, sensing expeditionary advanced base field training exercise on Wake Island, Dec. 11, 2025. During the exercise, 12th LAAB occupied two EABs, executing simultaneous operations across Wake Island and Camp Hansen. The training focused on enhancing EAB capabilities and refining integrated air defense procedures, showcasing 12th LAAB’s ability to rapidly establish air surveillance and communication capabilities in a contested environment.
