The bolt assembly of an M16A2 rifle is taken apart and cleaned during a weapons inspection at the U.S. Air Force Small Arms Depot located on Chapman Training Annex, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Sept. 22, 2025. The weapons were cleaned of stickers or tape and thoroughly inspected to ensure serviceability before being repackaged and shipped in support of a Presidential Drawdown Authority.
