GREAT LAKES, Illinois (Dec. 11, 2025) – Naval Station Great Lakes Gold Star Coordinator, Maura Bradshaw, embraces a gold star family member during a Navy Gold Star tree lighting ceremony held at the Great Lakes Navy Exchange. The Navy Gold Star Program provides support to surviving family members of Sailors who died while on active duty, regardless of the loved one's military branch, location, or manner of death.
