GREAT LAKES, Illinois (Dec. 11, 2025) – Fire Controlman 1st Class Jesse Ninos presents an ornament adorned with the photograph of a fallen service member during a Navy Gold Star tree lighting ceremony held at the Great Lakes Navy Exchange. The Navy Gold Star Program provides support to surviving family members of Sailors who died while on active duty, regardless of the loved one's military branch, location, or manner of death.
