PUGET SOUND, Wash. – (May 6, 2025) Military Sealift Command vessel Gary Chouest tows Moored Training Ship Sam Rayburn (MTS-635) through Puget Sound at the start of her final voyage. Originally commissioned as USS Sam Rayburn (SSBN 635), the ballistic missile submarine carried out Cold War deterrent patrols before being converted into a Moored Training Ship.
