Two U.S. Navy Sailors awarded Fleet Marine Force pin and two Marines promote to Corporal while deployed

U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Maura M. Hennigan, left, commanding general of 2nd Marine Logistics Group, congratulates U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Carson Dunlap, center, and HM Seman Brandon Smith, both with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd MLG, for their dedication and commitment to earning the Fleet Marine Force pin during Exercise Freezing Winds 2025 in Dragsvik, Finland, Dec. 4, 2025. The FMF Warfare Insignia is earned by Sailors assigned to FMF units and signifies that a Sailor has achieved a required level of excellence and proficiency with an enhanced comprehension of Marine Corps warfighting, mission effectiveness, and command survivability. Freezing Winds is conducted to increase interoperability between Marines, Finland, and NATO Allies by executing combined amphibious operations in and around the Baltic Sea littorals, and is part of a regularly occurring series of exercises in northern Europe that demonstrates the capability to deploy and train Marines and Sailors in support of the NATO Alliance. Hennigan is a native of New York. Dunlap is a native of Nevada. Smith is a native of Texas. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Brady V. Hathaway)
