JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON – (Dec. 4, 2025) – Dr. Dao Ho, of Dallas, a research immunologist assigned to the Combat Casualty Care and Operational Medicine directorate, Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) San Antonio, was presented with the command’s Fiscal Year 2025 “Science Staff” Civilian of the Year by Dr. Heuy-Ching Hetty Wang (left) and Commanding Officer Capt. Michael Tiller, Medical Corps, during an holiday social held at the Fort Sam Houston Community Center. Navy Medicine’s highly skilled workforce – at sea and ashore – provide an unmatched advantage in ensuring the health and readiness of the nation’s warfighters.
