D’Andre Williams, a tactical data systems technician with Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, operates an AN/PYQ-10 Simple Key Loader through a Multi-function Air Operations Center as part of Steel Knight 25 at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 4, 2025. The MAOC provides expeditionary aviation command and control and air surveillance capabilities essential to coordinating and sustaining Marine Air-Ground Task Force aviation operations. Steel Knight is an annual exercise that strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps team's ability to respond forward, integrate across domains, and sustain Marine Air-Ground Task Force readiness.
